Walt Whitman's Faces

Walt Whitman's poem "Faces" is presented as a printer's specimen, with a variety of typefaces illustrating Whitman's theme. It contains two essays on the poem by Barbara Henry and Karen Karbiener. Set by hand in foundry type and illustrated with images of the poet cut in linoleum and two digitally-printed photographs. Printed in an edition of 80 (36 copies bound in paper and 30 bound in boards in quarter-leather, all OOP) 14 copies bound with leather spine & fore-edge strip and handmade St-Armand paper 7-1/2 x 10 inches.
